Just some lomo lovin' from my lovely holiday in London with my little lady Liv. Brief, but oh so fun and romantic. This post is a bit belated (it was around Valentine's) but I love these photos so much. My 5pound disposable camera is currently at the chemist getting developed, and if any of the photos turn out well enough I may even bore you with mooore photos from our brief little escapade. Film cameras are fun. I found a second hand SLR film camera for only 39pounds, I may have to go back and buy it!

Ireland was quite possibly the greatest week of my life. Between being homeless, busking, dancing for hours on end on both the streets and in clubs, the paddywagon kids, creepy french dudes called remi, the most amazing retro diner in the world, making new friends, nonsensical jibberish and numerous code words, befriending drug dealers and a staple diet of chocolate, cigarettes, vodka, jaiger and macdonalds- I don't think I have ever had so much fun. Now my body is paying for it. I think my body is shutting down vital organ by vital organ, confirmed in last nights little bout of sleep paralysis. If you have ever experienced it, it is quite possibly the scariest thing ever. I woke up and couldn't move my body/speak for about 10 seconds. I need more sleep. But let us not dwell on the negative, Ireland was i-n-c-r-e-d-i-b-l-e.

Nothing new. Balmain pictures are ubiquitous in the blogging and fashion world, but I just wanted to post these out of adoration. These photos are so reminiscent of the days of ballet- long, ardorous classes spent on the bar and in front of mirrors, rehearsals, exams, concerts, eisteddfods. And of course...the beautiful tutu's and dresses at the end of the day. Lace, tulle, pearls. Mmm. As much as I do miss the good ol' days, I'd prefer a ballerina-inspired dress paired with killer Balmain heels, over the classic killer (in the literal sense of the word) pointe shoes. Any day.

I took a wrong turn yesterday whilst shopping on Oxford St, and stumbled into none other than the Vivienne Westwood store. Oh, destiny. I think I died a little bit inside, partly because I know I could never afford any of it (or at least for a very long time) but mainly because it is probably my most coveted designer brand. There was one dress in particular that I could not part with...until I figured they would probably call security if I continued holding and staring at it with a glazed over look on my face, and drool dribbling down my chin. Vivienne Westwood, you are the fucking bomb. Maybe one day I will be able to leave a store of yours with more than just a catalogue....

In other news, I did manage to buy a pair of faux leather pants from H&M, a pair of zebra print high-waisted jeans from H&M and a grey, hooded poncho from Zara. All in all, kind of a best day ever.
